Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2 Arrive Rome (6nights) On your arrival in Rome you are transferred
to your hotel. This evening, get together with your fellow passengers
and Tour Director for a welcome drink.
Day 3 Rome sightseeing & at leisure 'Roma - non basta una vita!'
A lifetime is not enough to enjoy the delights this exciting city
has to offer. Our sightseeing tour begins with a visit to St. Peter's
in the Vatican and then we cross to ancient Rome where we stop at
the Forum to view the Colosseum before we see the Circus Maximus,
scene of 'Ben Hur' style chariot races!. After you may wish to visit
the Catacombs or just relax in one of the many 'Piazzas'. Tonight,
why not dine out in a Roman trattoria? (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 Isle of Capri Excursion Today's highlight is an included excursion
to the enchanting Isle of Capri. We head to the port of Naples to
board the jetfoil to Capri. We disembark at Marina Grande, where
we take the funicular to Capri town to wander through the winding
streets and maybe shop in the boutiques! We also visit some of the
beautiful gardens and enjoy views over the famous Faraglioni Rocks.
Later, we cruise across the Bay of Naples and rejoin our coach for
our journey back to Rome. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 5 Rome at leisure Enjoy a full day at leisure. Perhaps visit
some museums and take a trip to nearby Tivoli. This evening, why
not indulge in some 'fetuccini' and cool local frascati wines? (Buffet
breakfast)
Day 6 Florence Excursion Today we drive past the hilltop villages
of the Umbria to Tuscany and Renaissance Florence. Here we enjoy
views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Next we continue on
a walking tour of the city with a local guide showing us the Duomo,
Piazza Signoria and a visit to the Santa Croce Basilica. The surrounding
area is ideal for spending some time on your own perhaps shop for
leather and gold. Later, you may wish to visit the Fine Arts Academy
to see Michelangelo's 'David'. Late evening arrival back in Rome.

Day 7 Rome at leisure You have another full day to do as you please.
Perhaps visit the nearby Castelli Romani. You may wish to spend
the day shopping along the elegant Via Condotti. Tonight, why not
enjoy an evening walk in the squares around the Pantheon and stop
for a coffee at the Spanish Steps? (Buffet breakfast)
Day 8 Rome - USA 'Arrivederci Roma' as we transfer you to the airport
for your return flight to America. (Buffet breakfast)
