The Viminale Hotel Is Like A Wonderful Window Open On The Eternal
City Next To The Coliseum, Via Nazionale, Spanish Steps And Next
To The Termini Station. The Roof Garden, On The 4th Floor, Opens
Onto The Splendid View Of Rome*S Historical Center.
The hotel offered great service to us and we did not have one complaint.
Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were courteous and still
offered breakfast even though we were quite late on occasion. The
terraced area was great for morning cappuccinos. There was a gym
area downstairs, I have a feeling some of the previous reviewers
did not ask what facilities where available at the Viminale.
The hotel is set on a quiet street and if you take the short walk
to the centre of Rome, along the same street you will find an awesome
restaurant "Da Robertino's" ristorantidiroma We watched
some Grand Prix with the owner while eating delicious roast lamb
and my partner had fresh pasta - wow. I cannot understand the negative
reviews posted, I can only assume that some travellers expect five
stars for the price three, and my own rating for this hotel was
four stars - would return without question.
